I have participated in 2 of the events and really enjoy it and see all the faces of family members, singles, men, women, disabled and those that normally don't exercise. They enjoy it. I've been to Nashville's bike ride and heard how they see Louisville as a leader in fitness as viewed by the bike rides and the mayors participation.

I'd like to see more events as the Memorial and Labor Day ones. Thanksgiving, Xmas or maybe Valentines, 4th or April Fools to place a theme to them for dress up and larger participation.

As for fitness and excercise and social events, this is one for the books and should be expanded. Expanded, not only in scope but area to include more of the sunnyside of Louisville, (maybe the Charlestown State Park), however other mayors have to come on board as well as Mayor Jerry Abrahamson.
