Think this Will Work in the US?

Click here to see the kewlest bike parking system ever.  It’s in Toyko…and when you view it tell me if it doesn’t remind you of the door factory in Monsters Inc!

The link below points to the blog of a Trek colleague, our Pavement Bike Manager, aka “Hootie.”  Enjoy.

it would do well in downtown SF. i’d think in manhattan and chicago too. anywhere with lots of riders.

i could see people in the office buildings downtown riding to work if they had a place to park their bike other than chained to a parking meteer.

Wouldn’t it be great if when they built the large circular ramp for cars in the multi-level parking lots, they built one of these down the centre of the spiral. I would love to see the day when cyclo-commuting is big enough in Canada to consider building one of these anywhere.

    Rebecca,

Here’s a pic of a bike rental place in Luxembourg. Sure would be nice if you could bike when you went to a strange city too…
