Ok, I made an assumption that the truck wasn't a gas sipper. But perhaps it's been retrofitted with an electric engine? Or a diesel trans fat burner?? I stand corrected. I'll have to call that dealer and get the scoop.

I think there is room in the world for cool classic vehicles. While I am an advocate and daily bike commuter, I realize motor vehicles are a part of our culture as Americans. I believe preserving some of these unique and beautiful creations is as important as historic preservation of building. My guess would be that the truck pictured is a v-8 powered four wheel drive getting 12 or 13 mpg. At least a vehicle like this has some intrinsic value that will live beyond the life or usefulness of a jumbo SUV hybrid, that will be in the crusher when it's less than ten years old.
