HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Central Daylight Time on July 17, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Standard Time on August 31, 2008 (the “Promotion Period”). Entries not received during the Promotion Period will not be considered or eligible.

To enter, visit the website www.1world2wheels.org during the Promotion Period and submit your name and email, together with your pledge to ride your bike or mail your entry on a postcard with your name, address and phone number to Go By Bike Pledge Event Sweepstakes Entry, 801 West Madison Street, Waterloo, WI 53594. Maximum of one (1) entry per entrant.

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old and a legal U.S. resident, or at least 19 and a legal Canadian resident (except for the province of Quebec, where it is void). Employees of Trek, its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retail dealers, advertising and promotional agencies, and any other individual or entity directly involved with this Sweepstakes, including immediate family members or those living in the same household, are not eligible. All federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations apply.

THE PRIZES: There are 46 prizes in all. Trek will give away 1 Trek 7.2 FX bicycle ($519.99 retail value) per day as detailed below.

SPONSOR: Trek Bicycle Corporation, 801 West Madison Street, Waterloo, WI 53594. Information gathered via entries in this Sweepstakes will be used only by Trek and its subsidiaries and affiliates.

ODDS AND NOTICE TO WINNER: Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The winner will be selected by Trek via random drawings held each day, beginning July 17, 2008 and ending August 31, 2008. The winner will be notified by email or telephone by Trek within seven (7) days of the drawing. The notice will include instructions on how to claim the prize. If the potential winner does not respond within fourteen (14) days after the first attempted contact, Trek will select an alternate potential winner in his or her place at random from all eligible entries received.

CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS: All entries become the property of Trek. Trek reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted, and no cash equivalent is offered, except at the sole discretion of Trek. All fees and federal, state, provincial, and local taxes on prizes offered, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes, or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt, use, or misuse of any prize. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, incidental, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.

DISRUPTION OF SWEEPSTAKES: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, or any condition caused by events beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted, the Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. The Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Sponsor is not responsible if any prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather, or acts of terrorism.

AGREEMENT: Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Trek, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

SWEEPSTAKES RESULTS: To request a copy of the names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Trek Bicycle Corporation, Go By Bike Pledge Event Sweepstakes Results, 801 West Madison Street, Waterloo, WI 53594. Vermont residents may omit postage. Requests must be received within thirty (30) days after the end of the Promotion Period.
